Your application to Southport College

At Southport College we want to make applying for a course as easy as possible. If you want to check on the progress of your application at any time you can call us on 01704 392704, email or if you have applied online you can login to the online system.

Step 1 Choose a course

You can apply online by searching for a course and following the instructions. Once we receive your application we will store it securely and will arrange an interview with you at the College. If your does not require an interview you can enrol directly on to the course through the online system.

Step 2 If your course requires an interview

You will be invited to an interview to check if the course is right for you. It's also your chance to ask about finance and learning support at the College. You will receive the time and date of your interview along with any special instructions. If you are successful at the interview you will be offered a place on the course.

Step 3 Check if you are eligible for fee remission/funding

Some courses offer remission on course fees to check if you are eligible see your course fees page. Advanced Learning Loans are available to students aged 19+ on Level 3 and Level 4 courses and more information is available here.

Step 4 Enrolment

Courses usually start at the beginning of September. For full-time courses you will be sent an enrolment date/time and for part-time courses you will need to attend an enrolment session to sign up for your course.

For Higher Education courses you will need to apply through UCAS.
