By popular demand, we are proud to be offering an additional ‘English for Speakers of Other Languages’ (ESOL) course, this summer. It’s free to all and a fantastic way to help the Ukranian refugees and non-English speaking residents of Southport and the surrounding area learn basic English and integrate into the wonderful community we have here in Southport.

A massive congratulations to Lindsey Joyce, one of our students on an evening art class for adults. She has won a live brief; designing a bag for life that will be printed and used at the foodbank run by Compassion Acts.
On Friday March 25th, we invited 6 of our partner high schools on to the Southport College campus to compete in an inter schools skills challenge.
A lorry load of almost 10,000 bricks, enough to build an entire house, has been generously donated by one of the UK’s leading brick suppliers, Michelmersh.
One of the brightest and most colourful events ever held in our professional Concept Salons; the 'Candyland' Hair, Nail and Beauty Competition was ‘awash’ with creativity and ‘blew’ the judges away!
Liam Birks returned to Southport College for a rather noble cause; donating his long, flowing locks to the Little Princess Trust, whilst raising money for them in the process.

A tradition running for decades has been the ‘End of Year Art Shows’ at both the Southport College and KGV Sixth Form College campuses. Sadly restrictions have meant the shows can’t go ahead in their traditional format this year, but we are delighted to launch an impressive online showcase instead.
We are proud to be the first school or college in Sefton to have been given a Bronze award for our work to make sure students don’t miss out on an education because they are young carers.
