Hey, I’m Cait. I came from Archbishop Beck Catholic College. I chose to come to Southport college due to the college giving me more opportunities, than the other colleges I was applying for. After college I hope to travel for the rest of my life and live carefree, as I’m very interested in learning others culture and experiencing the world.

About my project
I have always been interested in criminology and unsolved mysteries, so for my Final Project I planned on creating a body of work based on the “Jack the Ripper” case. I researched the victims of Jack the ripper, as well as the suspects and letters that were sent out; for example, Mary Ann Nichols, Annie Charman etc.
I used the data from my research to create artwork in response to this case. I especially wanted to investigate the crime scenes and the investigation and theories behind each of the murders, as I think it’s interesting how the police force and Scotland Yard used to investigate disturbing murders such as these.
