Hello, I’m Emelia (18). I have just completed my studies on Graphic Design Level 3 at Southport College. I will be starting Graphic Design HND in September and until then I am determined to practice techniques and styles to develop my abilities.

About my project
For my final project, I wanted to choose a theme that I am fascinated by and will enjoy making outcomes for. I have always been intrigued by the ocean as its vast and unexplored space is a mystery to everyone. I also enjoy looking through artists concepts for what mysterious things they imagine the ocean could contain like undiscovered animals, plants and environments.
My favourite concepts however are the fantasy typed illustrations of structures, landmarks and cities that have either been submerged by the ocean and left to decay or evolved and designed to live and thrive in the hash underwater environment. The inspiration I get from these concepts allows me to imagine my own concepts and designs for submerged landscapes, which I used when creating my pieces.
