Although we recommended that you aim to spend 12 weeks on them, the courses can be completed at your own pace, in even less time.

There are so many on offer, directly aimed at giving you the key skills needed by local employers, in industries such as business, education, health and social care, hospitality and retail. A qualification in these skills would be highly attractive to employers. It shows that whilst you may not have the experience, you have taken the time to complete a specific course, proving that you have underpinning knowledge of the role, for a head start when joining their company or are now ready for the next step in your career.
We welcome everyone to undertake these free courses. You don’t need to have any prior qualifications or experience, just a willingness to learn and access to the internet on a computer or laptop. Following a simple application and enrolment process, you will be given access to an online portal, allowing you to complete your studies in your own time.
Upon successful completion of these courses you will receive a certificate of a nationally recognised qualification, boosting your CV with something brand new, proving to employers that you have commitment and are willing to learn.
