So far, Southport College has trained 223 delegates from 22 local companies and businesses through their Building Better Customer Experience programme. Not only has this training upskilled the workforce in our region but had a direct positive impact on the local economy, improving the customer experience across Southport and beyond.
In response to growing demand, the College will be expanding their offering by introducing an advanced customer service course in September. This exciting development will support local employees with their professional confidence and career progression into management roles.
Director of Apprenticeships and Skills, Shaun Hindle, says “After receiving such positive feedback from our Building Better Customer Experience programme, we’re proud to continue investing in the development of our local workforce. This new advanced customer service course is designed to give employees the confidence, skills, and support they need to take the next step in their careers and move into leadership positions.”
