Hospitality and catering students take part in Liverpool Gourmet Gala

On Friday 10th October, our hospitality and catering students took part in the Liverpool Gourmet Gala fundraising dinner at The Hilton Hotel in Liverpool.

Students and staff with pastry chef Emma Lawson

Hosted by the British Red Cross and the Royal Academy of Culinary Arts Adopt a School Trust, the evening consisted of live entertainment, a charity auction, and a specially crafted menu and canapes. Our students supported top Michelin star chefs, produced outstanding dishes, and delivered exceptional service to dinner guests, with the event providing a fantastic, hands-on experience to boost their skills, professional confidence, and an excellent addition to their CV.

Our catering students worked closely with industry professionals such as award winning pastry chef Emma Lawson, Michelin-starred chef Hrishikesh Desai from Farlam Hall, chef patron of the Old Stamp House Ryan Blackburn, and Harry Kirkpatrick, head chef at Michelin-starred Trinity Restaurant. We can't thank them enough for sharing their time, expertise, and skill with our aspiring chefs.
