Former Performing Arts Student Starring in “Cats”

We were delighted to hear from one of our former Level 3 Extended Diploma in Performing Arts students, Joseph Hewitt, recently.

Joseph studied at Southport College between 2012 and 2014, before heading off to continue his studies at the prestigious PPA in London, and has just completed a recent tour in Andrew Lloyd Webber’s musical Cats where he starred as The Rum Tum Tugger.

Joseph was a dedicated and talented student at Southport and the Performing Arts Team speak really highly of him and are delighted to hear about his success in “the business”.

Joseph is currently back in the Northwest for the Panto season, where he is appearing in Aladdin at the Grange Theatre in Northwich and is hoping to visit Southport College early next year for a talk and workshop with our current Level 3 students.
