The students have been learning about a range of festivals including Christingle, Hanukkah and Diwali and have been creating resources based around the festivals, the ideas for which they can then use with the children in nurseries and schools in their future careers. The resources included Diwali candle holders made out of clay, Dreidels (spinning tops) and Christingle Oranges.
The Festival of Light is always a popular part of the curriculum, both with our students and the children who they will be teaching and highlights the importance of embracing the multi faith and multi cultural society in which we all live and work.
