Our floristry teacher Jane and her fantastic students worked hard to create another stand out floristry display. The exhibition included a garden scene, adorned with floral bouquets, hanging baskets, and a series of intricate floral installations. For example, the deck chair was meticulously decorated with individual flowers which took Jane a staggering 5 hours to sew on. Talk about dedication!
This talent and creativity was recognised by judges, who awarded them with the Gold Medal Award for the second year in a row.
We are also extremely pleased to say they were awarded with the Rose Gold Bowl, the highest accolade the judges can offer. This has not been presented to any exhibitor since 2015, making it an extraordinary moment in the history of the Flower Show. To have our students and staff achieve this after more than a decade is nothing short of phenomenal, and we couldn’t be prouder of their achievement.
